FAQs
- What is the camp price?
- Camp fee is $325
- Is there a special rate if we register early?
- Yes, we have a $300 Early Bird promotion from March 5th - March 19th
- Is there a family discount rate?
- Yes, the family rate for more than one child is $300
- When is payment due?
- A deposit of $50 is due upon registration to reserve a space. Full payment is due on May 31, 2023.
- How do I make payments and access the payment portal?
- You should receive a confirmation email after you have registered, and you will be able to access the payment portal through this confirmation email to make further payments
- How can I apply for a scholarship?
- If the cost of camp presents an undue financial burden on your family and you are unable to afford it, please email us at for a scholarship application.
- Where do I check-in and check-out my child?
- Check-in and check-out will be held at the New Hope West Stewart Chapel lobby.
- Check-in begins at 11:00 am
- The bus to Kellogg Springs Camp will leave campus promptly at 1:00pm
- What if my child takes medication?
- Your child will be able to check in their medications with the Camp Nurse, and work with the Nurse to make sure they are distributed their medications on time and properly.
- Do we need to sign a liability waiver form?
- Yes, you must sign a Kellogg Springs Camp and New Hope West liability waiver. The waivers are part of the registration process.
- What if my child takes medication?
- Your child will be able to check in their medications with the Camp Nurse and work with the Nurse to make sure they are distributing their medications on time and properly.
- Can I bring extra money to buy drinks or snacks?
- Yes. We will have a snack store and merch will be available for purchase periodically throughout the duration of camp. We encourage campers to load money onto their camp store card and limit the amount of cash brought to camp.
- Do you allow cell phones or any electronics at camp?
- No we do not allow any electronics. Parents will be given a staff point of contact in case their student needs to be contacted. We ask that all other electronics and valuables be left at home as we want to avoid any lost valuables or distractions at camp.
PACKING LIST:
Items to pack include:
*It is strongly recommended for campers to have their names clearly marked on their belongings.
- Bible, journal, and pens
- Water bottle, flashlight
- Bed sheets, blankets, pillow with cover, bath towels (Kellogg Springs Camp will not provide these items)
- Towels (for shower and pool activities)
- Appropriate clothing for the duration of the camp
- T-Shirts, shorts, undergarments, socks
- Sweatshirt and long pants for nighttime activities
- At least one pair of clothes that can get dirty
- Water games and modest bathing suit (Ladies, we ask for midriffs to be covered)
- Closed-toed shoes and any other desired footwear
- Toiletries:
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Shampoo, conditioner, soap
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Feminine items
*Campers may want to bring extra money with them to buy drinks or snacks during free time
Please don't bring:
- Any cell phones as we will enforce a No Cell Phone Policy (this also includes video games, iPods, or any electronics in general)
- Weapons of any kind (Knives, BB Guns, etc.)
- Expensive clothing/shoes (camp will be full of outdoor activities that will lead to clothes and shoes possibly getting stained or dirty. Please save your nice clothes for church on Sunday!)
- Alcohol, Drugs
- Explosives (Fireworks, Sparklers, Lighters, Etc.)
- Snacks and peanut products (We want to be sensitive to allergies!)
Camp store will have snacks and camp merch available at various times throughout camp. If your camper would like to purchase items from the store, they can either bring cash or parents can load money onto their Y+YA Camp Cash Card.
